Making your own bra straps for your lingerie is a great way to add some unique style ideas to your bras, bralettes, bodices, slips etc instead of buying ready made bra straps.
You can also add the same (silk) fabric that you used in the bra to match with the straps or add some extra rings and sliders.
Here is your step-by-step guide how to make a pair of bra straps:

• you will need:  

1. Bra Strap Elastic
2. Bra Sliders 2x
3. Bra Rings 2x

Lets get started!

Cut your Bra Straps in the desired length & slide the adjuster into your bra strap elastic on one end like so: 

The adjuster should sit about 2cm inwards on your bra strap end. Right side of your elastic facing outwards. Now fold the very end of your elastic over to create a loop :

Secure the end of the loop with a pin from the inside(see above) Now we secure the 2 layers of elastic with a Satin Stitch securely in a parallel line to your adjuster:

It will look like this:

Trim off any threads or extra bra strap elastic next to your stitch line to create a neat finish. Now we slide the ring in & create a loop like so: feeding the open end of the bra strap through the adjuster on both sides:

Cut some extra strips to create loops for your rings to attach to the bra wings like so:
